** Sadly the Organisers have had to cancel this event - due to the restrictions in place for the COVID-19 pandemic.
Lets make sure we can get there and support them next year **
- The Bass Strait Challenge (previously known as Bluff to Bluff) hosted by the Cradle Coast Outrigger Canoe Club in Tasmania.
- This is a 65km relay race (split into 7 legs that range from 4km to a maximum of 11km), with crew changes happening on the beach (NOT in the water).
- Again we are looking for registrations within the club to attend this regatta.
- The club has committed to taking all 3 x OC6 Mirages to this event to help out Cradle Coast OCC field teams from interstate. We will have 1 x OC6 for our use. So looking for at least 12 paddlers to make a single team.
- A certain level of experience is required for this event, please reach out to your coaches if you are unsure of your abilities.
The last time we attended this race, it was lots of fun, we came 2nd to Cradle Coast crew by the narrowest of margins (approx. 30secs). Lets see if we can go one better.
